Latest Innovate UK funding competitions now open

Innovate UK is part of UK Research and Innovation, a non-departmental public body funded by a grant-in-aid from the UK government. 

Innovate UK drives productivity and economic growth by supporting businesses to develop and realise the potential of new ideas, including those from the UK’s world-class research base.

Grant funding is available from Innovate UK for specific projects. The following funding competitions are now open for registrations:

World-leading projects in UK aerospace: funding for best ideas

Organisations are invited to propose innovative projects that could benefit the UK aerospace industry through smarter, more energy-efficient technologies.

Innovative SMEs can apply for a share of £2.5 million to collaborate in research with partners across Europe and associated countries.

SBRI funding competitions

SBRI supports a range of competitions with public sector organisations and departments. Here are the latest SBRI competitions:

SBRI: Detection and identification of illicit postal goods at UK borders

Organisations can apply for a share of £250,000, including VAT, to develop innovative detection technologies for deployment in the UK postal border environment.

Organisations can apply to develop new solutions to reduce air pollutant emissions from road vehicle brake or tyre wear, non-road mobile machinery used in construction and transport refrigeration units.
