This clinic provides one-to-one advice and guidance on how to use LinkedIn effectively as a sales and marketing tool for small to medium sized businesses (SMEs). One-hour bookable appointments are available between 9am and 12:00pm.

As a business owner with a B2B product or service to promote, you don’t need to be told that growing your company is becoming more and more challenging every day. The key is to generate high-quality leads. Unfortunately, in today’s environment it is increasingly difficult to find, connect and engage with the key decision-makers in any company.

LinkedIn is the premier B2B networking site. 450 million profiles worldwide and 21 million in the UK alone make it an incredibly powerful sales and marketing tool, but a lot of business people don’t understand how to get the most from it. If you’re not using LinkedIn effectively you will, without doubt, be missing out on business opportunities.

What is covered?

In this one-to-one session, we will review your LinkedIn presence (if you have one) and give you some help and advice on how to make it work harder for you. If you have never had a LinkedIn account, we will show you how to set it up. We will also show you how to use LinkedIn to find, connect and engage with key potential customers.

About our LinkedIn clinic expert

This clinic is being delivered by Berkshire Growth Hub partner Steve Doyle of Linking Business, who has 35 years sales and marketing experience. He has worked for some of the largest companies in the world, running multinational sales and marketing teams, but also running his own consultancy and so he understands small businesses and the pressures on them.

He first used LinkedIn in 2005 but like most people didn’t know how to get the best out of it, using it as an online CV rather than the sales and marketing tool it can be. Its true potential became apparent when he used LinkedIn to build his own consulting business and to help a client finalise a €5 million distribution deal in a new market using LinkedIn contacts.

Since then he has shared his knowledge and experience to help businesses of all sizes get the most from LinkedIn.
