A company that helps financial advisers by researching and writing compliant reports is taking on new staff following support from the Berkshire Growth Hub.
Established in 2013, Argonaut Paraplanning is about to welcome its third employee, with the goal to grow into a team of six.
As Argonaut co-owner, Alan Gow, explains: “The demand for paraplanners is huge but there are very few out there. We saw an opportunity to capitalise on that.” He approached the Berkshire Growth Hub because “We turn away potential clients on an almost daily basis. We wanted to grow the business, but knew we needed guidance to get it right.”
Business Champion Martin Hall supported Argonaut with impartial business help and advice through the High Growth Programme. All of the Growth Hub’s services are fully funded and are provided at no cost to clients.
Alan feels that: “We now have a clearer picture of where we’re headed and how to get there, with more focus on our long-term strategy. We’ve redesigned our core product and reviewed our main processes, making us more efficient.”
